A covered patio, live music, good food, and some great Happy Hour options aptly describes the Ollie's Local . Located at the corner of 31st and Gillham Road in Martini Corner, Ollie's is a short jaunt from Downtown Kansas City. ambiance at Ollie's Local is a Happy Hour spot I frequent. For the drink specials, yes, but more for the tasty food. My stomach is grumbling as I'm writing this for the Fancy-Pants Tots. The last time I Happy Hour'd at Ollie's, I had the Fancy-Pants Tots, the Hummus and the Stiegel Grapefruit Radler. The Fancy-Pants Tots are sweet and spicy with blue cheese and bacon. The Hummus is whipped and creamy. And the Grapefruit Radler (upgraded to the 20 oz. for free) reminds me of Summer, even as the temperatures cool down. I highly recommend all three.
